Ultrasounds and Blood Tests

Hi all,

My GP has referred me for blood tests (drawn today) and an ultrasound since my LP seems to be getting shorter each month (down to just 7 days last cycle). I'm still getting positive OPKs and a temp rise a few days later, so am assuming I'm ovulating and that it's a a progesterone/hormone issue.

Hopeing some of you lovely people can help with a couple of questions though - I had my CD21 bloods done today, but according to my charts I'm only 2dpo. Is this too early and if so, what CD should I be tested if I'm likely to start AF on day 7 after ovulation?

Also, with the ultrasound, is there any partic day it should be booked in for? It's scheduled for Friday 25th and based on my last few cycles I'll either be on my period or have just finished it then. Does it need to be carried out during the LP, or does it not matter what CD it's done on?
