Question

When did I ovulate... And is my CM temp and opk right...? Need some definite advice on what to do!!!

I am new to everything. My temps have been dipping since I got a bbt thermometer a few days back. And still went from 97.29 to 97.27 yest and today.

my cervical mucus has been PLENTIFUL but not really clear... More creamy, for a few days. Was watery but not stretchy at the start yesterday (cd 10) then dry by late eve. And dry tacky today!?!?

my cervix feels med-higher and firm this morning. And I went from being very 'horney' (tmi I guess sorry....) for a few days. To feeling like zilch yest eve and today.

but here's the thing. Was CLOSE to a positive OPK on cd9 and a definite positive mid morning (10:30am) on cd 10!!! Then a negative again by afternoon!?!?!?

I am SOoooo confused. So, here's my questions to you ladies :::::

1) when would my ovulation day be for real...?

2) when your temp is still dipping down is the only time you are fertile? Or when it begins to rise too?

3) and what's with my cm!? Is that normal to be dry!?

You're going to have to wait at least a few more days before you have enough information to make sense of what's going on. (Annoying, I know!) If your temp jumps up tomorrow and stays up for a few days, you can confirm that you ovulated yesterday or today. If it doesn't, the positive opk was a false alarm. And yes, once you see the temp rise you are no longer fertile (well, probably - bbt isn't an exact science and the temp rise can begin before o occurs, but in most cases by the time you see the temp rise its too late to get any more bd in).

Cm can be very variable from women to women, but in general you get more abundant and fertile cm while estrogen rises approaching o, then it quickly dries up following o. If o fails to occur for whatever reason, it can still dry up quickly but may not. I know there's so much to learn about all of this and I've found a ton of helpful sites, feel free to message me if you want more info or links to good sites.

Thanks YarnLady! Yes, its hard to really decipher the reliable sites out. I keep seeming to find contradicting information :P
