Question

14 weeks pregnant indigestion?

Hi so I'm 14 weeks pregnant and im not moaning seriously I'm not.
I was one of the lucky few to not have any morning sickness at all. Convinced something was wrong or that I wasn't actually pregnant, but saw a lovely very active wriggly baby at 12 weeks 2 days things are perfect.
For the last couple of weeks I've been suffering greatly with indigestion. Feeling full at just a sandwich for the whole day. I've woke up this morning had some weetabix and literally the indigestion is right there again. I know it's a very common symptom with your digestion slowing down but will this ease? At the moment the first trimester seemed nicer then the 2nd. If I had to put up with this for another 26 weeks then so be it but it's a horrible symptom. Any ladies shed any light? P.s I ain't eating the common triggers of indigestion even water gives it me......

Unfortunately, its probably only going to get worse as u grow. It has to do with the the hormones and digestion slowing down, but as u get further along, babys size and placement plays a role as well. With my first, I didnt have it til about 38-39wks, but it was horrible and definitely brought on by anything I swallowed, water included. It definitely makes u not look forward to eating lol. U can ask ur OB for something to help with the acid, or u can go OTC and see if that stuff works, just ask a pharmacist. I took Gaviscon and altho the way it works is not going to stop the acid from coming up, it puts a barrier between the acid and ur esophagus, so when it does come up, theres zero burn. Comes in some great flavours as well. I've stocked up on the mint liquid for this baby. There are other ones that work differently, they neutralize the acid completely, not always a good thing tho! Talk with ur pharmacist about which is best for u, if ur unable to see ur OB before then. =))

Eat carrot, radish, lemon, alkaline food and fiber rich food..Trust me it will ease for digestion... cut little bit bakery items :) :) I hope this will help..
