Predicting ovulation date with irregular periods..help!
How do I predict my ovulation date if my cycles have always been irregular? My cycles have almost never been "on time." I had my last normal period (4 days and medium bleeding) on July 10, 11. I had a really funny cycle that strangely started on Aug 10, 11 but it was very light (didn't even need tampons) and it only lasted 2 days. Today is the 15th and I am having fullness and light cramping in my lower abdomen and my breasts are "tingly." I don't want to jump the gun or be paranoid, but what should I think??

Test for pregnancy if you have been trying. Some people bleed a light even if they are pregnant. Sounds kinda strange. OPKs are your best bet, get the answer one's then test up to 3 times per day until you get a positive LH. I would start as soon as you are done with your period just in case.

If you have irregular, occasionally light periods you may still be experiencing the symptoms of that as it was quite recent and your tests were neg. :(
As for predicting; i say work on averages. Work out your average cycle (this site has a section for that fill in as many boxes as you can in date order) and work back 14 days from your approx. date, based on your average to see when you might ovulate, i decided that i would not set a specific date but widen the net a bit the earliest to the latest days as i would ovulate on any day during the 6/7 days before and 3/4 days after this date.
I came off the pill, was irregular, upto 33 day cycle at a point very frustrating!After a few months of that i decided that i had to stop obessessing about the date, the day :D and relax we worked on averages made sure we BD everyday give or take a day. Got BFP 11 DPO :)

Babs- I really appreciate your response. You mentioned it may still be symptoms from the period that I explained was irregular. Thing is, not one has ever been that light and stopped after two days and I'm 25. And it's been 4 days since it stopped and I'm STILL having the same symptoms. I'm still just as confused lol
