Question

Prenatal Vitamins TTC?

I was wondering if it is a good idea to take prenatal vitamins before getting pregnant while TTC? I am looking to getting back to taking vitamins again and was just wondering thoughts on this subject. Thanks!

Yes. Absolutely. And make sure they contain at least 800 of folic acid.

Yes! In fact, they recommend you start them 2-3 mos prior to TTC. Look for a brand with at least 800 MCG of folic acid.

Agree completely with the other two ladies! Good for you for thinking ahead and doing what's best for your future children! Switch out your usually multivitamin for prenatals and the transition from tta to ttc will be much more flawless
