Question

Does having PCOS mean any pregnancy is high risk?

I saw something about PCOS and high risk pregnancy on Pinterest a while back. I pinned the image & posed the question there months ago, but haven't had any responses. I even searched on here and all over the web to no avail. DH says "high risk" is a designation physicians place on patients based on their perceived risk of getting sued... At least that's his opinion. Does anyone have more information on this?

No it doesn't make you high risk. It's just harder to get pregnant x

High risk has nothing to do with how likely you are to a sue a Dr. It has to do with how likely you or the baby are to suffer from complications during pregnancy or delivery. I was high risk with my 2nd for premature birth bc my 1st was delivered at 36 wks. As far as pcos, once you conceive, you should be no more high risk than the avg woman. All pcos means is that you will have a harder time getting pregnant.
