Question

Pain, advice please

Hi ladies, I have PCOS and I take metformin usually. I've had regular cycles for the last few months which is abnormal for me but great because we are ttc. For around two weeks now I have had pain in my pelvic region like a seering pain but also similar to the feeling when you push a bruise in and it's constant. I'm on cycle day 37 and HPTs are negative. It's getting so severe now that I'm struggling to sleep and am constantly doubled over. I went to my dr yesterday and he fobbed me off with painkillers.
Has anyone ever had this and what was the outcome please?
I've obviously had cysts before and have even had an operation to remove a large one but nothing has been this painful and nothing on both sides before.
TIA

I had this, I have have pcos too. I was fobbed off loads of times at the hospital as I was so bad a ambulance was called. I eventually went to my GP and he said he thought my cysts had returned( I had them all go after two years on metformin.) So I had a scan and sure enough the clomid I had been taking had caused the cysts to return and I was told they were causing the pain. I would see your dr to get a scan done.

Just wanted to update this in case anyone has the same. I have had hospital tests done ALL DAY. I have PID and a lot of cysts on my ovaries, which are also inflamed. And I also have a cystic womb. Oh the joys!
