Safe first trimester exercises?

Hello Ladies. I'm 6 weeks and not happy with my starting weight. What exercises did you/are you doing that are safe for baby?

Any exercise that you have been doing for awhile, is perfectly safe. If you are new to exercise, I would start with regular walking or swimming. Swimming really feels great when you are further along and get achy joints and such. Walking helps with labor and delivery, I don't know why, but it really does. Best wishes! :)

mammaof3..Is right walking and swimming are great ways to workout while pregnant...Just start slow so you don't over heat it's not good for the baby. You can try walking in place 3 times a day for 5min. at a time for the first 2 weeks...Good luck to you!

I exercise daily. I have a usual workout that consists of jumping jacks, squats, donkey kicks, working out my arms using 10 lbs weights, ect. Stuff like that. It's amazing and I don't really feel tired afterwards.
