Chemical Pregnancy?
I believe I'm having a chemical pregnancy. I had my first positive on a hpt one week ago. I have had several positive tests since then--including digital and not digital, though faint and never got any darker. Got my beta hcg drawn after the first positive and it was very low and hardly increased two days later. This morning was the first negative home pregnancy test, but I've yet to bleed. For those of you that have experienced this (positive tests turning to negative or low betas), how soon after a negative test did you bleed? Did you start trying again next cycle or wait?

I'm so sorry, the same thing happened for me last month and I was horrible disappointed. I started to bleed 3 days after I recieved negative blood work back from my doctor. Just keep in mind that you have next month to try again, and there was a reason your body did this. Also, my doctor told me women are usually more fertile after a CP so you never know! Maybe next month will be your month!! FX!!

I had a chemical 2 cycle's before I got my bfp. I started bleeding about 4-5 days after the first negative test. And the cycle after that I had an annovulatory but this cycle I got my BFP and am now 6 weeks pregnant. :) I think if you are ready to start trying again the next cycle than you should, might be more disappointing to you to have to wait and not try at all for 1 cycle. I don't think much recovery time is needed in a chemical just because it was so early on, not much changes took place. So your body should go back to normal. :) Hope that helps.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I can sympathize as I'm in the same boat. I had a chemical pregnancy with my first pregnancy two weeks ago. I kept testing after getting my BFP, watched the lines get darker and then progressively lighter. I spotted slightly 24 hours after the first test was lighter but only when I wiped, and started bleeding probably 36-48 hours after I noticed the fainter line.
I, too, am looking to hear from women who had early miscarriage/chemical. My doctor told me to wait a cycle or two but despite me asking "Why" twice would not give me a really reason why! I'm going to ovulate this week and my husband and I are so torn. Do we try? What if we conceive this cycle and miscarry again? I swear I never get straight answers from doctors!
