DON'T WORRY! The same thing happened to me when I was 15 wks or so. My 37 year old hubby caught the chicken pox (seriously) and I was freaking out! However, my OB said that as long as I had the pox my unborn baby would be just fine. It is only if you come down with an active case of the pox yourself that there is a risk to your unborn child. You can relax! :)

My OB told me the same thing. As long as you are immune, baby is too!

Both my kids came down with chicken pox when I was 7-8 weeks pregnant and everything was fine :) if you have had them before you have nothing to worry about :)

If you bad them when you were younger you will be fine. Its a virus so you have it forever our body just knows what to do with it after. So relax and take care of your little ones. :-)

Wow I didn't even expect a reply, this is amazing! Thank you all so much it has helped me to keep calm :) I did ring my gp to confirm it with him and he is going to send me for a blood test just to check if I am immune or not just to be on the safe side.

He said he had a case of when somebody was pregnant and their child had chicken pox the lady already had them but he did her blood also she wasn't immune so she had to have some injections and her baby was born perfect/healthy. So fingers crossed :) xxxxxxx
