Question

Chemical=CD1?

I'm so frustrated. I got a positive last Thursday 6/12. Had the best weekend ever then woke up at 4:00 in the morning on Monday 6/16 to cramps and bleeding. I was right around 5 weeks. I'm assuming this was a chemical. Dr. didn't want to see me, just have my blood drawn. Was it a chemical and should I consider 6/16 as CD1?

Yes, you would count the first day of bleeding as cd1. If HCG is still present after a chemical pregnancy it could delay ovulation. I am so sorry you are having to go through this, I had a cp in April myself and ovulated 2 weeks later then normal. I wish you the best of luck.

I just reread your question, some ladies do have bleeding in the 1st trimester, so you could still be pregnant. When I went through this I had a blood test on my second day of bleeding and my HCG was under 5, so I was told I was no longer pregnant and it was a chemical pregnancy.
