After ovulation CM often dries up and/or gets whitish and sticky. This is a result of increased progesterone after ovulation. CM varies during the luteal phase. It can have just about any color or consistency and changes frequently because of fluctuating hormones estrogen and progesterone. If you regularly experience spotting during your lp I recommend getting a progesterone check. Hope this helps.

thank you so much, im waiting for my doctor so send me a progesterone test in the mail should be here monday as that will be day 21. (im in Aus) so i hope that will be a good result!
