Question

I got my period about 8 PM last Sunday. My question is: is sunday day 1 of my cycle or monday?

Well, I am not sure how to count this cycle, beacuse usually I get my period in the moring or around noon.

It is important fore me to know exactly so that I can determine ovulation day, which is usually D 12.

Thanks )

I go by calendar days. As long as AF arrives before I go to bed at nite, thats cd1.

First, sorry about spelling. English is not my mother language and I was nervous and typing real fast :)

And I want to clarify that it was red and almost full flow, not spotting. I don't usually spott before AF.

Oh geez, dont worry about ur spelling and definitely dont be nervous!!

I would call Sunday cycle day 1. As long as it was a flow and not spotting, the time it actually left ur body doesnt matter, just the day. =))

My consultant told me count the first moment of bleeding as cycle day 1 as it means your hormones have changed in order to start AF.

At my fertility clinic, for medical purposes, a period that arrives after 5pm is considered next day.
