Did I screw up my chances this cycle?
On Saturday 6-7 I drank around 4 energy drinks and had to take an energy pill. I did this because I had been awake for 36 hours by 6th on June 6. It's a really long story that centered around a family emergency. I was 3dpo did I just screw up my chance for implantation if the egg was fertilized? I just have no idea how those things effect as far as implantation after fertlization. Assuming I now have a ferried egg that's going to kmplant.

memberI am sure there are mixed opinions on this subject, energy drinks, coffee, and caffeine in general. Research shows there is a link between caffeine consumption and lower fertility. However, my reproductive endocrinologist was not concerned about it when I asked him about coffee and chocolate. I nevertheless gave up coffee 2 years ago. I still have not conceived. I don't think this one time of heavy use of energy boosters will wipe out your chances for this month. If you consumed that much on a daily basis I would be alarmed. From what i've read, caffeine affects the ability of the fallopian tube to contract and push the egg into the womb. If you stopped that motion from the caffeine then the egg possibly did not make it into the womb in time to implant in a favorable location. However, thats a lot of ifs. Take it one day at a time and see what has happened. You'll know in a few days!
