Anyone ever had IUI

I did my first IUI cycle on Friday and everyday I get bad cramps on the right and my back hurts on the right. I would have thought that by now I wouldn't be crampy anymore but I'am. Anyone else had this?

Had 2 IUIs recently. It is the HCG shot to trigger ovulation (Ovidrel) that causes the cramping, bloating, and extreme discomfort in the following days for me....the IUI procedure itself causes me only a brief moment of a slighly stinging sensation. Hope this helps.

I had an IUI last Monday ,I had cramps and pain in my ovaries for some days,Maybe the HCG made your ovulation painful ,or may be it is a good sign .
