Question

OPK confusion at 7-8 dpo

LMP: 5/19. Ovulation spotting and EWCM on 5/30-so CD 12. Abdominal twinges on 6/3 and 6/4. Today feeling very full in the abdomen. Took HPT and it was -, still too early I know. Took 3 OPKS, I have a bunch sitting in my cupboard. + at 11am, + at 4pm, and + at 11pm. What the heck is going on? Anyone care to take a guess? I would appreciate opinions.

It is normal to have LH surges during the luteal phase. LH not only makes the egg release from the follicle but it also supports the corpus luteum during the luteal phase. It is common to get positive OPKs during the lp which is why it is advised to use OPKs until you get a positive and then stop using them.
