Question

100 days late for my period. Doctor's say I'm fine. Not sure what's wrong. Help???

100 days late for my period. I took a blood and urine test and everything is normal. They didn't do any other test. I don't know what is wrong. The doctor said to come back in 2 months if nothing has changed. Should I get a second opinion? If so I'm a military spouse so how/where would I get one? What could be wrong with me? This is so difficult! What do I do?

hi. I would get a second opinion. Maybe you have pcos or something? Unfortunately I don't know how the military system works, I am in South Africa. But just wanted to still give my opinion.

I would definitely get a second opinion. I do have a girl friend who has something (I forget what sorry) and sometimes she wont have her period for months at a time and others she has it for 2-3 weeks at a time or even sometimes biweekly. I hope you figure it out, Good luck!

I would insist on more test, it could be all your doctor can do for you in that office is what he has done. He should be able to refer you to someone that can help. If you find this hard to do, sometimes a doctor can be intimidating and when they are shrugging you off it is even harder, tell him your Husband is insisting you find out whats wrong and that he will not wait. I know it is a sexist answer, but people are sexist and do not always take women seriously. Good luck, its your body and you have a right to know whats going on.

Thanks everyone. My doctor is female. She said that she isn't worried because I had spotted a little. So she told me to come back in 2 months anyway. I have no clue what's wrong. My thyroid and everything came back normal. But that was all they tested for a long with chlamydia which is stupid because my husband is the only man I've ever been with. Because I have have the military insurance I'm not sure what I can and cannot do. I would like to go off base for a second opinion but I don't think I can.

I would ask for an ultrasound to see if you have any mature follicles growing. It appears that you are not ovulating, hence the lack of AF, and without ovulation, you can't get pregnant. And perhaps ask to be evaluated for progesterone to start your period and clomid or something similar going forward to see if you can kickstart ovulation.
