So confused, normal period or implantation bleeding?

I miscarried 5 wks ago and tho I still have many preg symptoms I just got my af, or what I guess is my af. It's very diff from what a norm af for me would be. I had no pms symptoms such as cramping bloating and moodswings. It also started out as light spotting. The next day it was red but very light like mostly only when I wiped and only a small amount went on the pad. later that night it was back to spotting. So, I thought it was over. Then the next morning it was back to light bleeding, heavier than spotting but lighter than a normal af. No clots or cramps. last night it completely stopped. It came back an hr later but just very light spotting. this morning it was very light brown spotting so I though it was over. I then went #2 and when I wiped it was red again but still light, and an hr later still none on my pad. So I took a preg test it was neg. I am 12dpo (unsure). Was it my period or implantation? Would a normal period be so up and down? Y do i still feel so many preg symptom?
