Question

Incredibly sore hips.

I am 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Since about 6 weeks I've had a sore dull ache in my left hip.
This last week it's become such a problem to sleep. The only way that seems comfortable is by sitting up slightly with something between my legs. This has made me sleep on the recliner in my living room. Fair to say fella not happy I'm not in bed.
I visited the Dr last weds who said this has nothing to do with baby and just something new. I found this hard to believe. I've heard pgp can start early trimaster. Could this really be that.
I have been worried about ectopic, as I've had no symptoms other then food aversions and acne and a constant hunger... No nausea no morning sickness.... With my first pregnancy which ended in ms at 6 weeks I remember feeling so ill. The nausea was unreal.
But achy hips 8 weeks in? I'm not gonna be able to walk in another 30 weeks. Anybody else experience this???

I had this in my second pregnancy and was diagnosed as SPD (symphysis pubis dysfunction) or basically severe pelvic pain. I had to have painkillers to get me through and yes sleeping at night with a pillow between your legs will help! Not sure what your Dr is thinking but it is def worth pushing for a better answer! Don't be worried about no symptoms as every pregnancy is different. My second I didn't have much sickness at all and craved completely different foods. As for the pelvic pain if it worsens you must go back to your Dr. My midwife told me that the best thing to do was to restrain from opening up the pelvis. In other words, try not to open your legs too much! There is a lot of information about SPD online so look it up and see if you think you have it, if so get some treatment as the bigger you get in pregnancy unfortunately the worse it gets. Good luck to you and fingers crossed that the hip pain goes away.
