Question

Should I consider taking baby aspirin; given history of miscarriage?

A friend was prescribed Baby Aspirin given her history of miscarriage. I asked my Nurse Practitioner, who said there is no harm for taking Baby Aspiring and that I could start it. I am wondering if there other women taking baby aspiring and for how many months while pregnant.

I was taking it for a while just in case to help boost my chances. It can't hurt since the dose is so low and as long as you have no issues with aspirin or any allergies, it shouldn't be an issue.

A very similar question was asked 1 week ago by mrskantola with excellent answers on the topic. Find it under old questions "cycles and ovulation" on page 4. The question was : could taking baby aspirin daily help implantation occur and can it prevent miscarriage? Hope this helps.

I was told by my consultant to start taking 120mg baby asprin as I've had 3 miscarriages in a row so I started taking it and I am now nearnly 17 weeks pregnant and still on baby asprin which I will be taking till I'm 20 weeks pregnant, I really think that the asprin helped me to keep this little 1 and I would recommend it to anybody who has suffered a loss or two xx
