Question

Always Loose Babies Between 4.5-5.5 weeks along...Anyone Else In This Boat??

DH and I have been TTC since May 2010. Well, more accurately, we have been trying to hold a pregnancy since then. We ALWAYS get pregnant...babies never stick though. Doc has tested me for everything he can think of. My tubes are fine, I ovulate naturally and on time, my progesterone levels are fine, I don't have an genetic or chromosomal disorders, etc.

The only problem working against us is slightly weak sperm, but DH is working on sperm quality.

We just lost another baby yesterday @ 5 weeks along. We will try again here in 2 weeks, but man I hate this!!! DH's dad has brain cancer @ the tender age of 51 (DH is only going on 22). He wants his dad to see our first baby before he goes to heaven :=(

We haven't tried literally every cycle. We have taken a few months off @ a time before. We have even gotten pregnant when I tried going on the pill. I just pray God will bless us with a miracle one day. I'm NEVER giving up HOPE 4 us!!! This does get tiring though to stay positive.

We suffered 6 miscarriages, all in the first trimester. It is very hard to be in this position. After 3 consecutive losses I was diagnosed with the Antiphospholipid syndrome which can be treated with blood thinners during pregnancy. Despite proper treatment I had three more losses, probably caused by chromosomal abnormalities. We still conceived a total of 4 healthy children, so THERE IS HOPE. Send me a message if you like. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

I've had 6 chemical pregnancies in the last year and one that made it to 10.5 weeks. But I'm older and I suspect that my eggs are crappy. Most early losses are due to chromosomal abnormalities, although they could also be caused by immune factors, lining issues, etc.

Just had a thought - you said your husband has "weak sperm" - what did you mean by that? Do you mean low motility or morphology? Or did you have him tested for DNA fragmentation?
