Question

10 dpo: massive rise in bbt and change in cm

My luteal phase is usually around 12 days long. So by the time I'm 10 dpo, I usually see my bbt starting to drop slightly. This morning this was not the case. Quite the contrary; when I measured my bbt, it was a LOT higher than previous days (chart on my countdown page). However, we've been having really hot weather here yesterday, and I stupidly closed my window for the night, causing my room to be warmer than usual and me to feel really hot & sweaty. I also turned quite a bit but I always do this during the night and it usually doesn't affect my temperature. Lastly, I woke up several times last night. I made sure not to sit up or move, but merely checked the time each time. The reason for waking up was because I felt so hot & sweaty. I went back to (light) sleep each time.
I now wonder; is my high temp due to the circumstances, or could it be accurate? Also, my cm has been light yellowish these past days and now it's darkish yellow. Early form of spotting? I don't know what

Your frequent waking and warmer interior temperature could very well have thrown off the temp, but that was a pretty decent spike! The only way to know forsure is to see what tomorrow morning brings. Good luck to you!
