Dips and increases occur in your luteal phase as a result of varying progesterone levels. "Implantation dips" are seen in charts of pregnant and not pregnant cycles pretty much equally. My best advice is track your temps as consistently as possible, but DON'T analyze every number.

Dips during the luteal phase are visible on pregnant and non-pregnant charts alike. They are a result of fluctuating progesterone and estrogen levels. A dip, like a one day drop in temperatures on your BBT chart about a week after ovulation could be an implantation dip but it can also happen without implantation occurring. After the dip the temperatures will go back up the next day. I hope this helps. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
