Threatened Miscarriage Diagnosis at 5.5 Weeks Pregnant
I visited the emergency room on Wednesday night due to cramping. My HCG level was 3,850 at about midnight. I had a transvaginal ultrasound done and the ultrasound showed a normal yolk sac. When I returned home about six hours later, I started bleeding and went back to the ER. They retested my HCG at 8 (8 hrs since previous count) and it only went up to 3975. The second ultrasound was the same but showed a small blood clot in my uterus.
My question is, out of those of you that experienced this, did you have a positive or negative outcome? I am being retested on Monday. I want to hear your stories - positive or negative. I'm freaking out.

I'm sorry. I had this happen in February. I had some brown spotting and never had them in my previous pregnancy so I went to the Er and had a vag ultrasound done. I was 7 weeks along. The baby had a heart beat of 75 and was attached down low near my cervix. The Er told me it a threatened miscarriage and I was mostly likely gong to lose the baby. I called my doc and he told me everything looked normal and to forget what they said. Later that night I started bleeding really bad and lost the baby. At least I prepared myself to an extent for this to happen. So my outcome want great, but that doesn't meant it won't be for you, I will pray for you and your baby.
