Question

Early pregnancy experiences

Today is my 9th week being pregnant and starting a few days ago I suddenly felt better. My boobs are still huge, have heart burn, light cramping but the nausea has gotten a lot better and my boobs don't hurt hardly at all, they do at times but it's a lot better. Mornings are still a little rough cause I feel so nauseous but if I eat every few hours I feel good all day long. I've noticed my veins in my boobs, arms, legs and feet more and I seem to be bruising a lot more easily than I did before. My hair has gotten a lot more curly, it used to not scrunch so good but now it looks like I got a perm it's so curly. I've realized this past week I'm a lot happier too, it's hard to explain but I just feel so happy all the time no matter what is going on. I get emotional at weird things but for the most part I'm happy. My sex drive has kinda gotten out of control lol, I just want it all the time and just thinking of how sexy he is turns me on so quick. Looking for similar experiences and to

Sounds super normal to me! EARLY pregnancy has higher amounts of hormones released to insure that critical early development....After that it's all just a matter of everything getting bigger and defined so the hormones aren't so copious.

Actually, it has to do with the placenta. At around 10 weeks, the placenta takes over hormone production, so most women see an improvement in symptoms around then. That's one of the reasons why the 2nd trimester is called the "honeymoon trimester" - your hormone levels start to level off around week 11. However, don't get your hopes up just yet. With both of my pregnancies, I had a brief reprieve around week 10 (I had horrible morning sickness with both pregnancies), but by week 12 it was worse than before. Hopefully, that won't be the case with you and you'll continue to feel great. Also, I bruise a lot more during pregnancy. My dr said it was due to extra blood volume that occurs during pregnancy.
