bload clots on your period

last month i got my period on the 30th and thats usually really late. but when i got it, cramps were horrible and i had really big blood clots my whole period. my mom said that it could give me blood poisoning if its something serious. im 1 dpo now and im scared it wont let me concieve

It is possible you may have had a chemical period. Usually when you have what appear to be clots, it is actually your uterine lining shedding, which is normal.

For me, clots are completely normal and occur with each period. I wouldn't let it stress you out.

If u have fibroid in uterus then chances are more to have heavy periods and big big clots do come. It will be very painful. I do suffer from this. Going to remove fibroid this cycle.

Mammoth

Another possibility is adenomyosis.

5 years TTC. Endometriosis and adenomyosis. Surgery. 2 IVFs. No joy. Low ovarian reserve. Is there any real hope? DE IVF = next step. Much higher success rates, but so used to things not working, it's hard to feel too hopeful. Wishing others an easier time.
