Is it possible to miss a pregnancy at 5 weeks on an ultrasound?
My last period was April 5th and I was due for my next May 3rd but have yet to get it. I went for an ultrasound today for another reason ( this ultrasound was booked from before my missed period). The ultrasound was of my ovaries and uterus. The tech didn't say if I was pregnant or if I wasn't. She said she was sending the results to my doctor and then my doctor would contact me.
I was just wondering if there's still hope for me... I never miss my period and it's never late. I've done HPT but they came out negative. I read somewhere that unless you have HCG levels of at least 2000 you won't be able to find a fetus on an ultrasound. I don't know how true this is. I know some women just have low HCG levels... I'm hoping maybe I'm one of them?
I did both intravaginal and one of my stomach btw.

Sorry but an ultrasound can't miss a fetus. I was pregnant and had my ultrasound done at 4 weeks and it was just a little sac. But don't give up hope. Most of the time the tech is not allowed to tell you what's going on. Even if you are pregnant. When I was going threw my MC the tech was not able to tell me anything about if the baby was still alive or not. But keep your head up and have faith. Wishing you lots of baby dust.

Hey im new here, my last cycle started april 1st, I was due on May 1st didnt have a period so I am now 12 days late. Took a hpt today got a faint positive but it disappeared after the 5 mins was up. Dr said to wait another week and go in to see her if AF still hasnt showed. Been trying for 18 months now. This month feels really different though, I "feel" pregnant, strange how our bodies work!
