What is happening?
Trying for 2 year with my other half to conceive. I have PCOS and low progesterone. He also lives in turkey so only see him every other month. My last cycle was 18/03/2014, cycle length usually 37 days. I don't know when I ovulate. I spent 3 weeks with him, 9th-30th April. AF was due on 25th, never came. I waited 4 days to test and it came back positive. When I came back to England i decided to test again to make sure. Positive again. I returned to work on the 2nd may to discover brown discharge. Went to A+E and was told my hcg was pretty low at 274 but not to worry. Few days later the bleeding got heavier and bright red, passed a few clots. EPU told me i was miscarrying and to return on the 12th for a scan. The bleeding stop after a week. Went yesterday for scan and blood test. You couldn't see anything on the scan but my blood test came back that the hcg had rose to 489. I know this is still very low. Have to return in a few days for another test, but what do you think going on?

memberI am not a "number person" but I looked this up for you on the BabyMed website:
At HCG levels in early pregnancy below 1,200 mlU/ml, the HCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours. It should normally increase by at least 60% every two days.
I have experienced 6 miscarriages and with each one the numbers were not doubling properly. I also started spotting. The ultrasounds always confirmed that something was wrong. No heartbeat, no yolk sac, etc.
You will probably know more after your next tests. I hope for the best, but I really don't know what to tell you.

member memberIsn't that something, when the drs don't give an answer but keep all their options open. Do you have good pregnancy symptoms? With a few of my early miscarriages my symptoms started fading and I knew something was wrong. I sure hope everything will go well for you. The very best wishes.
