In desperate need of advice!!!!
I'm 19 and I normally have irregular periods but I had an accidental unprotected sex 6 days ago and don't know weathers my symptoms are in my head or not 2-3days after sex I woke in a panic from a dream I don't really remember but I just had this gut feeling I was pregnant i then started having light headaches threw out the days following, frequent urinating, more frequent bowel movement's, mild abdominal pain between navel and pelvic bone, lower back pain, overall joint pain, a strong increase in appetite, increased sense of smell, slightly light headed and short of breath occasionally, increase white thick discharge, and heartburn. I don't know what to think because my periods are so irregular I don't know when I ovulate or when to test????? I have had two other times in the past thought I could be accidently pregnant but was never way worried this time a few days after sex I just felt different than any other time ..... thoughts please???

memberIt would be extremely unlikely for you to be suffering from pregnancy symptoms only 6 days after unprotected sex. Most of the pregnancy symptoms you have described occur later in pregnancy. However, take a test in 7 days if your period hasn't started. If it's negative and you still don't get your period then go to a doctor.

The symptoms you have at the moment will not be from being pregnant. If you had sex before ovulating, the egg still takes 6 to 10 days to implant in your uterus and then a few more days before the pregnancy hormones get high enough to give you symptoms. You may still be pregnant and should test in a week but the symptoms you have at the moment will be from other causes.
