You could be pregnant still, I would keep testing until your period comes. I just can never seem to stop testing until I see af, if you can stop you have amazing self control. If you have not seen af test on my friend you still have a shot. Good Luck :)

I have never taken metformin, but did have a similar situation last month. I was 11 days late for my AF, got it on cd 37 (had been having steady 26 day cycles) and 22 dpo. THEN she showed up, I was so sure I had it, but was wrong :( I think I mentally willed myself to be late because I wanted it so badly, I've heard that can happen and I think it did! I am not at all trying to be negative or discount your experience, because it actually sounds to me like you could be pregnant. I had read another thread that a woman kept testing and getting negatives until she hit day 17 of being late, her levels were just not high enough. I held onto that story for encouragement because it could very well happen. I wish you lots of luck!

Gosh, I'm in the same boat. I'm ok with it going either way, but I've had a normal 24-26 day cycle and if anything its been shorter but never longer. Here I am on CD33 (?!) and no AF... but I've been having mild cramps for about 5-6 days now. Every day I think to myself, "Ok, there are my period cramps, it's coming for sure" and everyday it hasn't. I've gotten 2 negative HPTs but I made an appointment with my gyno for Friday. I'm hoping he will take a blood test and whether it's yes or no I'll feel better about it. This not knowing is so hard! Good luck to you... this process is anything but easy!

Thanks lilrae78. I was just wondering cause we gave up in march and thats why I quit the metformin and the clomid. We had did 3 rounds of it and no success so we wanted to give it a break until i get off some other medicine that I have to take that can be harmful to the baby. Im not doing that but if it happened I would carry it and take the chance cause its a small chance but a chance of harm. Thanks for your comments. :)I don't have that kind of control I know exactly what you mean. I mean I have only tested 2 times since missing my af just cause Im trying to give it a couple days and test again....

Thanks Maggilu76. No I know what you mean. You're fine. We actually gave up in march after 3 rounds of clomid 2 50 mgs and 1 100 mgs along with the metformin... So im fine if I am or not. I have been having cramps on and off on some days and some nausea here and there but just so tired but im always that... im going to test again on friday or saturday. Here came cd 40 and gone again no AF. Idk i just want to know either way.... UGH the agony of not knowing....

I know how you feel.... see I havent been like this either since I started provera to start my period back in august and started the metformin .... my periods have gotten shorter and shorter but the last couple have been exact in length.... idk I just want to know either way... so I can get the agony of not knowing over with.... ugh.... good luck to you and please keep me updated....
