Fertility Supplements for men
Currently my husband is taking Fertilaid, and has been since December. He had a varcicocele repair in December as well. He had his SA done at 3 months post surgery. It showed improvement. I keep hearing about men being on L-Carnitine, CoQ10 and L-Arginine. I know that Fertilaid contains L-Carnitine, but none of the others. Should I have him stop fertilaid, and take all of these individually? I just want to make sure that he is taking everything he can to improve all areas. His count is improving (started at 2 mill, and is now 10 mill), his motility is normal, but his morph is 1%.
I would really appreciate some input!

I put my husband on Androvite for men as recommended by Marilyn Shannon's book Fertility, Cycles, and Nutrition. This is a trustworthy and excellent source of information. Androvite does not contain any of the 3 ingredients that you are mentioning, but my husband's sperm situation has improved while taking it (He has been taking it for 6 months now). He is also taking flaxoil. I used COQ10 for almost 1 year with no outcome in regards to pregnancy. I have not heard of men taking it to improve sperm quantity or quality, but may be there is something to it. Altogether I would trust an excellent vitamin supplement for men more than using single ingredients by themselves. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.
