I felt very sad when I read your message. I am very sorry for your loss.
I had 6 miscarriages within the past 10 years. With some I needed a D&C, with others not. I usually had bleeding that lasted for 2 weeks. I had to go in in intervals for bloodtests to make sure the HCG was going completely down. Other times an ultrasound was done to make sure that all fetal material had passed. I really don't know if this short time of bleeding is a problem. If you have any doubts about your situation call your doctor. You definitely want to make sure things are truly where they should be. I am so sorry for your loss, sending hugs to you. I had a D&C with my first baby that I had lost at 16 weeks. I had bleeding for about a week and then it stopped completely. After a few days after it stopped I randomly started bleeding again. So your bleeding cloud start back up again. I would also check with the doctor too, better safe than sorry.

I was also 9w and lost mine on 4/17. I have been bleeding the entire time, some days very light (only when I go to the bathroom) and other days it seems I have a few small clots. Starting to feel better. I had a rather large clot on wednsday (almost a week later) I called the MD and have to go in today to make sure things are going ok. They told me 1-2 weeks of bleeding off and on could happen. I wish you the best of luck with future endevours.

It will probably start up again or you may just have light spotting, but I would call the doctor. In addition to the lining and fetal tissue and everything, the bleeding comes from where the placenta was attached to the uterus.
