I just looked to see if I had any instructions, but unfortunately, I just have a test - I guess I threw out the instructions and box. But I googled and it seems you can get a false negative if you don't get enough pee, but I couldn't find anything about a false positive from too much pee. I usually hold the strip in the urine for the count of 5 or when I see it hit the test window. Good luck!

As per the First response website the instructions are as follows: Step 1. Holding the test stick by the Thumb Grip with the Absorbent Tip pointing downward and the Result Window facing away from your body, place the Absorbent Tip in your urine stream for 5 seconds only. You may also collect your urine in a clean, dry cup and immerse the entire Absorbent Tip in the urine for 5 seconds only. Step 2. While still holding the stick with the Absorbent Tip still pointing downward, replace the Overcap and lay the stick on a flat non-absorbent surface with the Result Window facing up.
You may soon see a pink color moving across the Result Window to indicate the test is working.
Wait 3 minutes until reading results.

Hope this helps and best wishes!!!
