On fertilaid, no af and bfn...help! :(
I stopped taking bc back in November 2013 & didn't have af for 2 months. I saw tons of good reviews for Fertilaid and decided to try it because I've been irregular ever since af decided to show her ugly face back in 4th grade! Once I started Fertilaid, af showed up exactly 2 weeks, Mar 9, 2014, of taking it! Then, after af left, I took OPK's around the time I was expecting to ovulate & got 8 positive days in a row!!! Hubby & I did the deed as much as possible!! I thought I was having early pregnancy symptoms...I was spotting, irritated/bleeding gums, slightly irritated nipples, bloated, nausea. Now...I'm on day 46 of no af &&& bfn's! Has anyone else had this happen to them while taking Fertilaid??
I was soooo excited & hopeful after finally having af & now Im just waiting for her to show back up so hubby & I can start trying again or a flippin BFP!
If anyone has gone through the same thing please let me know!!

You sound just like me...and unfortunately it sound like you have PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome). I have always had irregular AFs as well. After ttc for 5 months and not having AF or BFP, I was diagnosed with pcos. It causes multiple positive OPKs do higher amounts of LH in our systems. We also have more hair growth, harder to lose weight, acne, irregular to no AFs etc. There is no cure cause we've had it our whole lives, but there are treatments to help balance our hormones and make it easier to conceive. I highly recommend calling your doctor and asking for bloodwork to see if you do indeed have pcos. If you have any questions...please feel free to message me. I would never wish pcos on anyone (it's been hell for me) but I just want women to be informed cause it can cause increased risk of miscarriage and future health problems.
