I'm more of a clomid girl myself but I have taken femara. Your OV date can change on OV inducing medications. It's still too early I think but take an opk in case. Your body is probably just gearing up. I always had ewcm a few days before actual OV. Do some research on checking your cervical position. I can always tell based on the feel of my cervix, when I'm close to OV.

I have been doing Femara for the last 8 months now. I used to ovulate around day 12 in unmedicated cycles. In the first Femara cycle I received the trigger shot on day 10 as follicles were ready. The following 7 cycles my follicular phase lengthened and HCG shot was given on day 13. My doctor said that Femara, if anything, will lengthen the follicular phase. In my case this is desirable because it allows for a slightly longer exposure to FSH for follicle maturation. I tend to get between 1 and 2 follicles. The change in cycle length may be different for you. I would definitely test tonight because of your increased EWCM. That is always a warning signal that things are getting ready. I still developed a nice follicle on my own and we did IUI this morning and tomorrow morning again. The very, very best to you. Femara is a good choice.

I ovulated quite a bit earlier on femara. I went from cd 17 or 18 to cd 12-14. I liked the femara much better than clomid. I did 4 rounds of femara after a couple of clomid, then what finally did it for us was a femara/gonal f combo. With that cycle, it was a little later, oddly. My follicles were ready to trigger around cd15. Oh, and with the femara, I always had 2 to 3 nice sized follicles.

Thanks, ladies! OPK this evening is negative, but I think I'm going to see if I can get my husband to do a little baby dancing and take advantage of the EWCM. :)

Got a positive CD10. Now on CD14 (and supposedly 3dpo), I'm once again drowning in EWCM. OPKs taken last night and this morning are negative.
