Not a Question just an UPDATE. Spotting/bleeding for 17 days
Hey ladies I posted a few weeks ago about my spotting. I started spotting 8-10 days before my next AF was due. I went to my doctor after it had been 8 days. All blood tests came out normal. She sent me for an Ultrasound and she wanted to do a Pap but she had to wait until I stopped bleeding. I ended up spotting/bleeding for 17 days straight. My ultrasound showed that I had a small cyst next to my left ovary, Nabothian cysts on my cervix and a string of cysts on my right ovary. They decided it could be from PCOS. So they are putting me on Progesterone for 10 days and then starting me on birth control for 3 months to regulate my cycles. Then on the cycle after I stop BC they have strongly suggested that I start Clomid to make me ovulate. We know I do ovulate because I have a daughter already but i may not ovulate every month. It took a year with no contraceptive before I got pregnant with my daughter, so they see this as possibly the same. It's been 7 and a half months of TTC.

I didn't really have any bad pains. I would have some sharp stabbing pains on my left side where I assume my ovary is, but that could have been due to my cyst. Since I started spotting so early and it had been going on 9 days at the time, I went in to the doctor. So if you don't think this is AF I would recommend doing that.
