Question

Pregnant? Or positives caused by miscarriage a month ago?

My miscarriage last month was confirmed on March 11. I was at 200HCG & the doctor said no D&C would be required as the ultrasound showed everything was out.
A few days ago I had a negative test, then the next 2 days I've had 2 positives.. They were faint and took longer then usual to show up.
Thoughts?

I would go for a blood test and sonogram. It's possible there was some retained fetal tissue -- or you may be pregnant again. They should be able to confirm for you. Best wishes!

Your levels do drop but it can take months to drop below positive levels. I tested positive 8 weeks after a mmc at 9 weeks. If you truely did have a negative then positive (with the same brand, testing at the same time of day) then you should organise serial hcg to see if levels are rising or falling. It would be impossible to see anything on a scan this early.
