what does an early period mean??
I have been ttc and my period is different this cycle..my af always comes on time like clockwork but this time it came early. like a week early and it started out really light almost like spotting but then heavy.. Is that even normal?

memberAre you keeping a temperature chart? Sometimes there are anovulatory cycles which result in irregular cycles. If you feel what you experience is completely "out of control" see your doctor. Start keeping a BBT chart. It helps you detect ovulation and also lack of it. Best wishes.

Depending on how light it was, it could have been implantation bleeding because that is around the time you would see implantation bleeding. BUT it could also mean a chemical pregnancy. Like crazymomto2's story, she probably had a chemical pregnancy because you bleed, and then your tests will show up lighter and lighter til they are negative. You cant take a test at this point because it wont be accurate if it says positive. Because even after a chemical pregnancy/miscarriage, you still have HCG in your body for a couple weeks and preg tests will still pick it up, even tho you arent pregnant anymore. So what I would suggest is going to the doctor and seeing whats up cuz it could be a range of things. GOOD LUCK!!
