Question

No solid positive OPKs this cycle, and loss of CM in general?

I have a pic posted of my OPKs for this cycle in my HPT images, and this time it looks like I never got that extra-dark line, only a line of about equal intensity as the control, just skinnier. After that, they've all been negative. I tested twice a day, do I just have an extra short surge and I missed it? Also I've not felt any O pain yet, and I ALWAYS have the pain.. but I'm trying not to panic. Hopefully I'll feel it today. Also, since TTC my CM has been VERY difficult to track and differentiate from semen (gross, sorry).. and I barely get any at all. Before it would feel like I had so much of it that it would soak through a liner. Is his sperm just kinda gummin' up the works? :p I guess I have this irrational fear that I'm not ovulating. I know I should relax since stressing won't help, but I figured asking wouldn't hurt either. :)

I actually never had a + the month I conceived my second daughter. I have had + opk before, so I'm not sure what happened that month. As for cm, it can vary from month to month. It doesn't matter how much cm you see, as long as you have some around your cervix, that should be sufficient. If you are concerned, you can buy Preseed at Wal Mart or Walgreens. That is a fertile friendly lube. The best indicator that you're ovulating is regular periods. That isn't always the case, but if you have regular cycles, odds are you're ovulating. If you're overly concerned, you can temp & that will confirm monthly ovulation. In the meantime, make sure you're having regular sex. That way, when the egg pops, you have swimmers ready & able! Gl!

Sometimes women experience anovulatory cycles. In those cases you would not see a positive OPK result. Also, your estrogen level would be lower and less if any fertile CM produced. Chart your temperatures to better understand your cycles. It really helps pinpointing ovulation or the lack of it. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

Thank you! I bought a basal thermometer today just in case I'm ovulating late, and if no success this month, it will be put to good use next cycle.
