8 weeks pregnant and spotting?!?!
Hello, I am 8 weeks and 2 days exactly, I had to go to the ER last night because when I got home from the store I was bleeding, only maybe enough to fill up a light liner, but they have me an ultrasound and baby is still in place and still has a strong heartbeat, had anyone else had this happen? This is my second pregnancy, this didn't happen with my daughter. I've read about break threw bleeding around 4, 8 and 12 weeks, and I'm going that's it. I had absolutely no cramping during any of this.
Anyone's story of bleeding in early pregnancy and having a healthy child would be amazing.
Thank you for your time.

Not me personally, but my sister had the same thing. She bled off and on from 8-12 weeks, also with no cramping. It was a very scary time for the family. Her ultrasounds showed the baby was just fine, despite her bleeding. They determined the blood was coming from a small tear in her placenta. It cleared up on it's own and the bleeding stopped. Her baby was perfectly healthy. Best of luck to you and your little one!

When I was 7.5 weeks with my first, I had a ton of bright red blood (some clots too). I thought for sure I was miscarrying and I was devastated.....had US the next day and our sweet baby was still there, his little heartbeat flickering away! He's 21 months old now! :) Try to stat calm and take it easy. Best of luck to you!

With both of my children, but more so with my first, who is now 10, I would wake up in a pool of blood on my bed and they just said that I had a very vascular cervix. He always looked good on the sono's and his heartbeat was strong. But that seriously happened 5-6 times during my pregnancy. There is nothing scarier but do know that if they did a sono and the baby looked good and heartbeat was strong......stay positive. It does happen. My boys are walking proof that it can be just fine. Best of luck to you and your baby. Stay strong!
