I have been doing Femara//letrozole for the last 8 months. You will probably not get more than 2 or 3 mature follicles. letrozole is designed to give you fewer but better eggs. I usually get between 1 or 2. Best wishes.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope it works for you soon. I have yet to take the trigger shot. I have one but wasn't able to use it last month because of all the follicles. Do you for sure ovulate each time with it?

Yes, I ovulate every time and the progesterone levels on day 21 are always nicely between 23 an 56.

Wow! Have they told you any reason why your not getting pregnant?

While Femara will improve egg quality to some point, I think it is my age that keeps chances down. I am 47 with very good hormone levels ; but nevertheless, the older you are, the less likely your eggs are of good quality. Also, there are so many other factors contributing to success like fertilization and implantation. It will take us quite a long time to become successful if at all. But we can try, why not.
