Question

Losing hope.

Hello ladies. Haven't been on here in awhile. My husband and I have been trying for baby #1 for about 4 months now. My body has not only tricked me twice into thinking I was pregnant, and delayed my ovulation. Does anyone have any advice? Other than of course take it easy and don't think about it. I think we all know that's easier said than done haha

Don't lose hope... I have read that it can take a healthy couple with no issues up to a year to conceive. Hang in there. The body is kind of cruel sometimes when TTC... I have been tricked as well into thinking I was for sure pregnant when I wasn't. Good luck, I hope you get your bfp soon!

If you aren't already doing so, I would start using OPKs to help determine exactly when you are ovulating. Taking your BBT is also a great idea. It took me over a year to conceive my DD, but this time around it happened quickly. I took baby aspirin daily both times we were TTC (you'll just need to stop taking it once you get your BFP).

Also, try not to let your body and symptoms play tricks on you. So many months I swore I was pregnant based on symptoms, but AF would show up. Both cycles that I was pregnant, I didn't get any symptoms at all...in fact I was so sure AF was coming I bought tampons (seriously, both times)! You don't have to have symptoms to be pregnant. Those can start later one. GL and lots of baby dust:-)

I can also relate to that. I have been on medicated cycles for 8 months now and they result every time in high progesterone levels. They are difficult to deal with because they ALWAYS make you feel "pregnant" and then in the end you are not. Don't lose hope. Every cycle is different and there is always a chance for success the next time. I am 47 and still trying. We will be starting our next medicated cycle tomorrow. Best wishes and the Lord's blessings.

I feel your pain. We've been ttc (2nd child) for over 1 year. It's hard to see those bfn. My thoughts are with you and hopefully, you'll get a bfp soon! :)
