Proesterone 116.0: what does that mean?

Hi! Last cycle y Gyn. prescribed me a progesterone level at day 21 and it turned out to be 2.6, which is very low according to my doctor. He told me he wanted it to be around 10 and prescribed Serophene for the next cycle. I took the Serophene as prescribed, and I had a positive OPK on day 16. This time, my progesterone level at day 21 is 116! Considering he said he liked a progesterone at around 10, what does a high level such as 116 means? Thank you for your help!

It means you ovulated. The number itself, while nice and robust, means only that - although it could indicate more than one corpus luteum is producing progesterone. Good luck!!

Thank you for your answer! What are the chances of the ovocyte being fertilized! Considering we know I ovulated and my DH has no sperm problem, and we made love every day during my fertile period?

Unfortunately, the odds on paper are still only about 20% - but it sure sounds like you've got a terrific shot!!
