Metallic taste in mouth?

I'm currently 8dpo. I've never experienced anything like this before. I had some macaroni salad earlier it tasted fine. I decided to have some of the same macaroni salad tonight before dinner. When I took a bite, the worst taste hit me. It was like a soapy taste. It almost made me gag, and it's still lingering. It was terrible. Has anyone else experienced a taste like this suddenly after eating? Does it come and go? Is it a good sign?
