Question

Accurately calculating due date LMP vs Ovulation date

Let's say you have a cycle that's "not regular", but you know how to track your body. You know you ovulated "later than normal" around day 20 and got pregnant.

Is it a better idea to estimate from your ovulation date if you know when you conceived or to just use your LMP even though it would throw you at least a week off?

More accurate to go off of your ovulation date

For dates as far as calling the doctor etc, I would go off of ur LMP until he/she has a dating scan run, then he can adjust that stuff. If ur just looking for week-by-week info online to see what stages baby is at, then go by ur O date and add 2wks, that'll be ur new LMP.
