Was the blood test a quantitative or qualitative test? If it was qualitative, some assign a certain threshhold for the amount of hcg that is considered a positive. So it's possible to have enough hcg to trip a sensitive hpt, but still be considered negative if the number is lower than that limit. Also, hcg leaves the urine much more slowly than the blood, so it's possible to have blood results showing negative while the hpts still read positive.

I really wouldn't be able to tell you if it was a quantitative or qualitative test. Just read (Hcg Beta Subunit SERUM NEGATIVE). Don't know what that means besides the negative part. I reached out again and told them how is it possible for me to get 2 positives and now they want me to go back and take another pregnancy test. I would know what a negative looks like (seen those a whole lot of times). This time i tested property with the time using First Response Early Pregnancy test dipped it in for 5 seconds waited exactly 3 mins and within those three mins both the one i took today in the morning and the one yesterday afternoon came out with two lines. I just don't want to be thinking crazy. It would be impossible to get get to false positives in a row too so right now i do not know what to think!. My lower backs been hurting, my period was actually supposed to be here today and nothing, have bumps on my areola and my breast are tender. I really do not know what to think!
