Should I give up?
I don't WANT to get discouraged.. It's hard though because last month I was SURE I was pregnant, well I wasn't. Now today I am 8DPO and just took a sensitive pregnancy test First morning urine and it's BFN.. Even if it is sensitive could it still be too early to detect anything, or should I just give up and accept that it isn't going to happen this month?

You really should wait until closer to AF to test. Implantation can occur anywhere from 6-12 dpo and then it takes another day or so for hcg levels to rise (and to get the BFP). You are more likely to get a BFP later when AF is due (For both my pregnancies, I didn't get BFPs until 14dpo). Testing early can lead to discouragement when you could very well be pregnant but it's just too early to know. GL!

Oh no, do not give up hope yet! I agree that 8dpo is very early, implantation may not have even happened yet so keep the faith girl! I truly do understand the feeling, I am 15dpo today and I took a test yesterday at 14dpo only to get a negative. I had/have this sure feeling too that I'm pregnant this month, so I'm going to just wait another day and test again. And then again, and again until I'm convinced, and then start the opk again I guess!
I have read many posts where women have tested the day before AF, or even the day of, and got a false negative. They tested again a few days later and got their positives, I am hoping that's the case for me and for you too. Stay positive and I'd love if you'd keep us posted!
