That is a low number based on your LMP, but if you ovulated late the number could be just fine. And it went up quite a lot between draws, so that is a good sign! If your numbers are average for how far along you are, you are probably closer to 4-5 weeks pregnant. It could be another week or so before they can see anything on ultrasound. I think they can usually see something with a beta of around 2000. But I think usually its much higher (10,000) for them to see a heartbeat. Good luck :)

HCG at that level is definitely too low to see anything on u/s.

For a transvaginal levels need to be at least 1000-1500 before you will see much of anything. Abdominal is usually over 2000.

Your HCG levels more than doubled in a few days so that's a positive sign.

I don't know why doctors insist on sending people for ultrasounds so early when the likelihood of seeing anything is slim (unless of course there is concern due to bleeding or history/possibility of ectopic, etc). It stresses people unnecessarily.

So don't worry too much that they didn't see anything yet.

Do they have you coming back to do another HCG?
