Post-Partum after Loss?
Lately I've been feeling SO GRUMPY. I get frustrated and irritated very easily, and my patience is slowing dropping. I feel bad for my 1 yr. old cuz he's teething right now and I know it's hard for him. I'm trying to comfort him, etc., but it's hard to do when I'm feeling this way.
We lost our second baby at 7 weeks (ectopic), and we were devistated. If it wasn't for my husbands quick thinking, I would have died (I was bleeding internally). I'm wondering if i'm having post-partum depression. I never really had time to deal with what happened because the in-laws stayed with us for almost two weeks (had to put on my smiley face, act strong, and entertain house guests). My self-esteem really took a hit when we lost the baby, and I'm always grumpy.
Anyone else have similar experiences? Is it possible to have post-partum depression after a loss?

*Hugs* you were pregnant and the body starts making baby supporting hormones and I'm not surprised you feel 'grumpy'. I'm so sorry for your loss, no words can heal that loss, time does help but you don't forget ..... When I lost my child I had to send everyone away, I found company pretty overwhelming.
You can ask you doctor for medications for the teething, I found we were under dosing my son. The doctor adjusted his dose. You could also ask the doctor for medication if you need it, there are new short course anti-depressants, which you take for 6 months and then don't need to continue. Of course you might not need anti-depressants because you realise the loss was not one you could control. There is no set time on grieving
