I've heard that sometimes having too high hcg levels i.e. in twins or triples won't get detected by hpts. Maybe try a digital? And if it's still negative.. maybe go to your doctor and get a blood test. Goodluck!

The last time I was pregnant I was 9 weeks when I did a test and with twins so they do work after two weeks. Good luck :)

No, it is not true. There is such a thing as the hook effect, where there is so much hcg it sort of messes with the test -- but you'll still get a positive, it just might not be as dark as it was previously and you may need to dilute the urine to see that nice dark line.

You may have ovulated later than you had thought. If AF doesn't appear, I'd test again in a few days.

Thanks ladies, I'm now 9 days late and 22 dpo .. Done a test at 19 dpo still a neg . My cycle is every 48-50 days and only last for 4 days . Hubby works away and his last visit landed right on my ovulation days. This is counting back the 14-16 days before my next due period . That was three weeks today . .. Trying to stay calm and relax . Think a blood test next week will be my best option .. Thanks again ladies ..
